Our friends at The Bloody Mary Film Festival have just announced that they are returning to the Imagine Carlton Cinemas for their third year!
The Bloody Mary Film Festival was established in 2016 to highlight Canadian female filmmakers in the horror, sci-fi, and fantasy genres and provide a platform to exhibit their work.
The submissions are open for shorts and feature-length genre films directed by female-identifying Canadian filmmakers. All submitted films are eligible for the Audience Choice Award that donates $5000 worth of camera rentals towards their next project, courtesy of Dazmo Camera.
Submissions are open from May 1, 2018 and close on September 4th, 2018. Submittals can be processed thru FilmFreeway. No submission fees are required and additional guidelines can be found on FilmFreeway or the festival website, The Bloody Mary Film Festival.
